Kakadu was a special place and we really liked. We were given mixed comments but what we saw was fantastic. One place in particular - Ubirr. It is on the border to Arnhem Land (Aboriginal area). The East Alligator River is the border and you can watch the car cross over. You need a permit and 4WD which we did not have this time. We also visited the aboriginal rock art sites. We walked the track to a lookout up on the rocks and the view across the wetlands was spectacular. Definately worth the climb.
