Guacomole

This is a mexican dip and this is my own personal recipe. See below for notes on variations.

WHAT YOU NEED:

1 Avocado

1 Tomato

1 Small onion

Parsley (optional)

Squeeze Lemon juice

Teaspoon sour cream (I use light)

Salt and pepper

 

HOW TO MAKE IT:

Scrap out the inside of the avocado into a bowl. Add finely chopped tomato, onion and parsley. Add lemon juice and sour cream. Then salt and pepper (this is to your taste)

Then use a fork to mix and mash avocado. Should be a smooth texture with chucks of tomato and onion.

 

PRESENTATION:

Serve with plain toasted corn chips that you have heated in the oven while making this.

 

VARIATIONS:

Some people like to add tabasco sauce
