BABY BOOK NOTES - July 2006

You are 12 mths old

You are a confident walker now and prefer to walk everywhere indoors. We had you party which was a great day and you were as always a happy girl. The day of you birthday was a school day and we took in a cake (marble sponge with pink icing and sprinkles) everyone sang happy birthday and had cake with you. You still love school but have days when you get a bit clingy to mum. At home hugging mums legs or hanging onto mums skirt is your thing.

We also had our family photos done the week after your birthday.
The same day as we had the family photo we also took you for your needles. You were good for those too. We are all still sick with a runny nose and cough. About mid month we all got sore throats as well.
You also had your first school photos taken this month.

You are hugging your toys lots now and having little conversations with them. You also have your own gad and wallet and make sure that is with you most of the time. You like your dollys and hug and pat their back while rocking them in your arms. Very cute to watch. You are very good with the cat now and don’t hassle him as much as you use to. You pat and cuddle puss very gentle now.

You got an electric car for your birthday and you are always very excited to get inside for a drive. You cant reach the peddle yet but we help you. You love to dance and there are a few commercials on TV or radio songs that get you bopping. You always have cheeky grin when you show off as you know how clever you are. We are so proud.

One Saturday when we were out shopping (22 July) you wanted to walk your self so I held your hand and you walked yourself in the shopping centre. You were so happy with yourself.
