BABY BOOK NOTES - January 2006

You are 6 mth old

This month started with the second hottest day on record – 45’c Lucky we had air conditioning installed at home just a month earlier. You stayed fairly cool and you ate and slept fairly normally that day.

You are eating 3 meals a day now and enjoying foods we eat rather than baby food. Some of the things you like are fruit custard, yoghurts, arrowroot biscuits, roast lamb, potato bake, mini drumstick tandoori

You had your needles the first week and only had a little cry. You also started childcare and are just an angel. Everyone loves looking after you as you are no trouble. You sleep, eat and play so well. You are sitting very well now and roly poly everywhere you can. You are still trying to crawl and can get on all fours for a second before you drop.

By the end of this month you were up on all fours rocking back and forth and even worked out how to get into a sitting position. You are very mobile now even though you can not crawl. You get where you want and love to pat the animals – Ed and Junior. You even had a pat of the snakes on Australia Day when we had visitors.

You are such a good baby. You are always so happy and good natured. At the end of the month we all got the gastro bug and you still managed smiles. Even Nanny and Aunty Chris got sick - so everyone was sick.
