BABY BOOK NOTES - February 2006

You are 7 mth old

You started off the month keen to get crawling and spent the first week taking a couple o crawls and collapsing. Then you would loose your balance and head butt the floor. On Sat 7 Feb you did you first crawl in the lounge room. Mummy and Daddy were both there to watch and were very proud. The next week you perfected your crawl and the following weekend you could get around where ever you wanted mainly following mummy around the house. We went out for Indian and you had the tandoori lamb cutlet and some mint yoghurt. Still a very good eater and particularly when its food that Mum and Dad eat. You often share an ice cream with dad after dinner and you favourite toys are your rocking camel, pink fragle, elmo, farmyard roundabout, and crackle book.
By Sun 15 Feb you were pulling yourself up to stand in your cot and trying the same around the house. You stand up holding mummys hands and sing a boogie woogie song while dancing. You are very cute.
You still stop strangers at the shopping centre and everyone comments on your smile and being so cute.
By the months end you had mastered crawling and pulling yourself up to stand hanging onto everything in sight. Several falls and donks to the head so lots of crying. You have even figured out how to take your first few steps while holding mummys hands. We are sure you are saying “mama” but only when tied, hungry or upset. Also you are trying to wave with your hand now which is very cute too.
Junior (cat) and Ed (dog) try to hide or stay outside more now you are mobile as you love to sit and pat them but often grab their fur so after they got in trouble for growling or defendng themselves they figured you were boss and it was easier to move away ?
You have also learnt the words NO and Naughty as you are always touching the blinds, power cords or mummys magazines. You drop you bottom lip and sulk when a big cheesy smile doesn’t work.
