BABY BOOK NOTES - April 2006
You are 9 mths old
This month you were still as active as ever. Standing is your big thing
now and you stand on your own for long periods of time. You have learnt
to use your walker and push it around. If something is in your way you
keep banging until it moves or until your walker changes direction.
You love to push a nappy box around the house as a walker. You are much
more confident on your feet.
You started to wear shoes this month as the weather was starting to
cool down. We also tried headbands but you really dont like them.
You only have little feet and wear a size 2 shoe. You had a pair of
soft navy shoes and some joggers. The first day out shopping and you
lost one of those so the other went in the bin. You like your navy shoes
and we wear them every day. We also started to put hats on as the days
are much cooler you dont mind the hat as long as it does
not cover your ears. You also love to play with mummys shoes and jewellery
so you are going to be a real girl. You give mummy cuddles and play
with whatever necklace I have on. Even lick and suck it so I have the
cleanest jewellery in town.
No new words but lots of gabble and using the words you know all the
time. Although when you are hungry you always seem to say mamma.
This month you learnt to wave and clap hands. You even started to say
bye bye.
You understand when I say clap clap and have a cute toothy smily.
Your first song we learnt to sing together was Twinkle twinkle little
star and did the hand movements together. You sang along in your gabble.
You had your first easter and got lots of presents. A dressing gown
from nanny and clothes and chocolate. Daddy got the biggest egg of all
and it was almost as big as you.
We also went to the ANZAC march. You love being out around people and
sitting up in your pram so you can see everything. We always call you
the looking girl.
At the end of the month you got your first top tooth. It was a bit
sore coming through. You had broncolytis month of the month as well
but as always you always still manage a smile. Just a bit grumpy when
it all gets too much.
